This Song Comes Softly

This song comes softly

quietly in

seemingly

nothing

happening

and then

the note played

nearby

and there was I

floating in

to a new

 beginning.

A surprise from nowhere

not looking

then something

was happening.

Not at all

what I expected

as I was going along

normally

somewhat reserved

and surrounded

by my own space

and then

a face was close to mine

even crossed the boundary line

and I was softly

feeling

this is fine.

Another place

another time

I will wait

to arrive there

someplace

somewhere.

in the dawning this morning, June 5, 2018

came suddenly

dropping down, in front of me.

You are here to teach

with botany

with heart

with being who

is real inside,

no longer time to glide

along.

where souls belong

and all together we are one.

Just like the crocus, shining light,

calling bees and little ants,

seeking yet another chance

to be bright.
