Look inside

and you will see

that I am you

and you are me

together we

live in life

being ourselves

with all mankind.

It is our universal flowering

that smiles inside

nowhere to go

nowhere to hide,

the story now

is be yourself

as like everyone you know

we are all One

that’s how we flow

with Grace from above

and pink shining Love

time will tell

so we will grow

flowering gloriously

with a healing glow.

Sunflower gold

I am being told

is calling me

to come and see

travel the field

and look around

and there will be

your true self found.

Oh could it be

the real true me

waiting long

and now I’m strong

with the tall stem

I always wanted

growing here

growing there.

And I can say

and I can know

that growing fast

or growing slow

whichever speed I come to be

I am grateful now

that I ‘ve found me.

Then where was I

all these years

was I growing in all my tears

from a little seed,

to a golden skirt,

long green legs

and big brown eyes

I am looking out

through the skies

and in the misty blue I saw

I could be taller,

I could be more.

But then a bee

sat with me

and said look hear

you know inside

that you are golden

and you are tall

and across the field

you can explore.

Just open up your golden heart

and see the seed is where to start

and you are real

and you are strong

and now you know

you do belong

to the wide world of love and grace

you are whole so live this space

live your life

enjoy the sun

spreading rays of play

just have fun

and share your life with everyone.

Oh really is that the word

express myself

I can be heard.

I am a flower

with a golden crown

and the strongest roots

spreading far

so up above I reach the stars.

So now I know

who I am

and what I know

becomes my plan.

Be the goldest colour I can be

many petals for all to see,

I radiate sunshine

and I love me and you,

and God

and life in the green

standing tall and being seen.

I love the sun

I need the rain

and I am ready

to begin again

to start my life

strong and tall

and love to smile

and sing along

sing my song

I do belong.

If I were a sunflower

golden and true

that is my song

I would sing to you

singing soft and singing free

golden in my heart is me.

The last time I saw you

I kissed you goodbye

and I said to myself

I wonder why.

I wonder I do

If you feel this too

If you ever wished

you would freely speak

and shine from your heart

to the love that you seek

to the love that you miss

to the touch

to the kiss

to wherever it went

wherever it is,

to the shadows behind

to the shame within

to the place to start

the place to begin.

Will we ever heal

will we come to the truth

will we heal the pain

we felt since our youth

will we come to expand

will be our true selves

will we heal from our hearts

are we free to express

shall we begin to release

will our futures be blessed.

But truly I reckon

the answers are here

and we need to go seeking

to search and be clear,

to love in the shadows

to look in our past

to be who we are

so freely at last.

Can we be any other

of course we cannot,

we are who we are

we live in that slot!

But what I am saying

and what I now know

is here on the inside

the shadows and pains

are blocking the sunshine

and the life-giving rains.

You see we are here

to be who we are

and being ourselves

is a challenge by far.

Just sitting quietly

will help I am sure

but listening within

to our well-stream

helps more.

So to be who you are

in the one hundred percent

takes courage and time

and the will to repent,

to believe who you are

to shine inside out

and turn your new life

around-about.

Go within and go deep

and imagine your sleep

the eve of this lifetime

the dying of you

and where you wish

for different days

and ways to release

and ways to replay.

Now when I think of this

and I think of then

I will say to myself

I remember when

there were times in my relationships

where I wish I’d been silent

more patient for sure

I wish I knew kindness

calmness and more,

as there in those times

in the troubles I lived

I wish I was balanced

and stronger within

more willingly wishing

to really forgive.

So what I am saying

which would heal to begin

is the true surrender

of all pain within.

Just start the new life

when you are still living this

start living again

do not wait ‘til you die

gently release,

let everything flow

be ready for Love

and a new day to show.

You can be a candle

a light in the room

you can be a light-globe

a flash for the best

you can live your real life

from the best place you are

and light will beam through

like a shining star.

So live, just live

live long and forgive

live life to the best

love yourself and express

love to all you love

let them know from your heart

they belong by your side

to enjoy and believe

Love is the answer

to let go and not grieve.

What is past has gone

and now that you know

live together as one

this lifetime will show

whatever we heal

as we live through this life

will help the future

shine truly bright.
